2017 Coppinville Junior High initiated a food drive which yielded 200 cands of food.

2017 Greenhill Presbyterian Church donated excess pantry food; nearly 100 cans
2017 Park Ave Baptist Church initiated a food drive and nearly 50 cans of food were donated
2016 Thanksgiving Holly Hill Elementary - 4000 cans/boxes of food. On Friday, November 18 Hand Up was invited to Holly Hill elementary. The students had participated in a massive pantry food drive. Approximately 2,000 cans of food was brought to school by the children in grades one to five. The drive was conducted by Kirstan Davis. The donated food filled the back seat and bed of a pick up truck for four trips! The food supplemented our Thanksgiving deliveries and has continued to keep our pantry stocked.

On June 12, the Republican Women of Coffee County sponsored our first Food Drive. It was held at their regularly scheduled monthly meeting. (L to R) Jenny Linke Jones and RWCC President Johnna Rowe Roberts. Members donated canned and boxed food. Cash was collected in the amount of $80. We were hardly 2 weeks old. It was humbling to receive such great support!
From July 1 to July 6, Sis Sherling, owner of Ed Sherling Ford located at 805 Glover Ave., Enterprise, hosted our second Food Drive. The employees at the dealership brought canned and boxed food in. Cash was donated in the amount of $24.
From August 9th until September 24, family owned business, Second Hand Treasures, Antiques & More, 220 South Main Street Enterprise, sponsored an extended Food Drive. No canned or boxed food was donated however $53 in cash was donated.
On September 12, 2016, Wade Smith, proprietor of The UPS Store, 1109 Boll Weevil Circle, Enterprise sponsored a cash drive until the end of September. Currently there is a drive.
In November Sarrell Dental Clinic conducted a food drive for Hand Up. The clinic, located at 2841 Neal Metcalf Rd., serves the at-need. Employees donated canned food which was donated to Hand Up on Nov 23 to supplement the Thanksgiving food boxes which were delivered along with full holiday meals.
Enterprise SIGNZ (Aron Dixon) smoked all the donated turkeys and hams which were distributed to the at-need families HUE fed for Thanksgiving.
Brock Moore a HUE member and local business owner of BROCK MOORE INDUSTRIES hosted a Food and Toy drive for HUE Christmas 2016. We had originally sponsored eleven (11) children but number swelled to 63 children. We were so fortunate that Brock sponsored this drive as it fulfilled all the needs for the additional children.
